3. Hand out the “Getting Used to Violence” -- read and write notes on the paper, then answer the following questions:
--Are Americans too used to violence?
--What violent acts can you remember witnessing on the news in your lifetime?
--What do you think of the violence portrayed in movies and videogames?
--Why did Malcolm X make a specific movement from violence to more calm methods? How did people respond?
4. Silent read the next chapter that they are on “Black Muslims”
